What you’ll be doing...

Position Overview

As part of the Digital CRM & Direct Marketing team, this individual will play a vital role driving continuous improvement of Verizon Wireless’ marketing campaigns through generation of campaign targets and cadence, analysis of campaign effectiveness, and insight-driven recommendations for future campaign optimization.

The position will partner and collaborate with key marketing managers in CRM to:

  • Concept and implement campaign data & cadence
  • Analyze impact of campaign relative to expected performance
  • Recommend actions to optimize / improve

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with campaign managers to understand campaign goals and objectives
  • Develop analysis platforms and dashboards to align with established requirements
  • Serve as subject-matter-expert for campaign analysis; provide recommendations / best practices
  • Develop executive-level recommendations and presentations, based upon insights
  • Mine data for insights in order to help drive the business vs. just reporting on it
  • Day to day responsibility for data preparation, data analysis, automation, etc.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of data and targeting
  • Manage vehicle cadence to avoid over-messaging or customer fatigue

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Marketing.
  • Knowledge of Teradata SQL.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with focus on database marketing and/or analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience using front-end applications to a data warehouse such as Teradata, Cognos, Business Objects or job specific application.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead / manage programs.
  • Prior CRM and/or direct response campaign experience with experience in campaign effectiveness.
  • High degree of comfort working with multiple data sources including: SQL Server, Access, Teradata, flat data files, proprietary databases, web-based interfaces, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with basic understanding of statistics
  • Experience designing / building Tableau dashboards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics highly desired; prior experience working with Adobe Cloud is desired, (Campaign, Audience Manager, Experience Manager, Target, etc).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience reporting financial impacts of large scale initiatives.
  • Proven success working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
