What you’ll be doing...

The Associate Director of Wireless Business Group Field Sales Operations is responsible for leading a team that delivers multiple business sales operations functions to the Wireless Business Group sales teams. The key strategic priorities of the team are maximizing sales and revenue growth, prioritization of team focus areas, assign tasks to team members, and performance manage individuals responsible for program execution and sales operations to enable sales team members and positively impact sales results. The Associate Director will work closely with the WBG Vice President of Sales and act as a Chief of Staff.

The Associate Director position will lead a diverse team of approximately 6 direct reports and 40 indirect reports - consisting of Managers and Coordinators aligned to support the nine WBG vertical sales teams. Functions include, but are not limited to, supporting marketing and sales enablement growth and retention programs, retention campaigns, customer engagement, managing sales funnels, in-building project management, SFDC funnel analytics, sales reporting, strategic planning, sales presentation creation, Account Depot requests, MyBusiness, and sales systems support.

This position requires a very high level of professionalism, organization, project management and the ability to work across organizations. Candidate must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant job experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business sales and/or sales operations

  • A minimum of 3years of people management experiance

  • Strong analytical skills with successful experience in securing and analyzing large volumes to data to make recommendations to achieve specific operational goals

  • Extensive computer skills including Microsoft suite and database management

  • Excellent project management, team leadership, interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience working directly with and presenting to senior executives

  • Successful Business Intel and Analytics Experience

Even better if you have:

  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple highly complex cross-functional projects/initiatives of varying priority required

  • Knowledge of corporate business strategy, wireless technology, market and industry trends

  • Ability to drive a large cross-function team to consensus

  • Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines

  • Strong VZW Region and Area Knowledge

  • Successful system knowledge

  • Successful Experience with Training Coordination
