What you’ll be doing...


This candidate will serve as a Lead Technical Engineer (LTE) and oversee/execute fault isolation/repair under the incident and problem management umbrellas in support of the customer Network Operations Center. The LTE will operate in a 24x7x365 capacity as needed to assist in network monitoring and support. Theywill also provide advanced expertise/knowledge to assist internal Target team members, Verizon account teams and NOC management.

The customer network is comprised of various technologies such as Managed WAN/LAN, Wireless LAN, Wan Acceleration (to name a few).

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the below:

  • Technical support and assistance for managed service customers
  • Technical support and assistance for account teams and tier one engineers
  • Proactively detect anomalies and performance issues to bring resolution and meet (if not exceed) customer satisfaction
  • Co-operative troubleshooting and partnership with internal support towers and external vendors
  • Assist with critical incidents by joining customer bridges to progress and remediate faults
  • End-to-end trouble isolation and repair on physical and logical layer services; constructing a plan of action for more complex issues when consulted

What we’re looking for...

Must have:
• Associate’s Degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willing and able to work all shifts, holidays and weekends in a 24/7 Network Operation Center environment (on-call responsibility inclusive) required

Ideally, you’ll also have:
• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge/industry certification
• ITIL v3 Foundations certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to provide customer facing commentary via email or phone relative to fault isolation, status and next plan of action
